But achieving it is an important goal, because not only will you look good and feel good about yourself, your quality of life will also improve.
The best way to prevent development of belly fat is to measure your total calorie intake and burn per day; and make sure that the calories you burn are more than the calories you take in as food. But if you already have a belly fat, then follow a low calorie and high nutrients diet chart, combine it with regular workout. This will start a process of burning excess fat and will help in reducing belly fat.
Exercise is absolutely essential for dealing, not only with belly fat problems, but other health problems as well. For example, aerobics exercise will help you cut body fat and reduce stress and insulin levels. This helps in reducing cortisol hormone secretion, consequently controlling belly fat, because cortisol helps in creating fat deposits around the body.
Controlling what kind of food you eat is the central concern of any program to lose belly fat. All junk foods should be prohibited or at least taken in moderate amounts only. Such foods include chips, cookies, candies, and similar products that contain sugar, refined carbohydrates, and fat.
Moreover, you should also keep tabs on what type of carbs you are having in your meals. Consuming carbs is not harmful by itself. It depends upon what type of carb you are eating. For example, carbs present in refined flours, cookies, pastas, white bread cakes etc are unhealthy. While carbs present in fruits, vegetables, and fresh foods are good for health. Anything in excess converts to fat; hence excess of carbohydrates also converts to fat and leads to belly fat.
People enjoy drinking alcohol; however, too much of alcohol consumption leads to beer belly. Alcohol provides you just with calories and no other nutrient; besides making you indolent. Hence, various programs suggest drinking in moderation when you are trying to reduce belly fat. Unless you restrict your calorie intake, you are not going to lose belly fat.
